Scouting Locations for Engagement Pictures

We came across an extremely generous offer recently and are planning on taking engagement pictures next week. The photographers suggested a beach shoot and I bended their ears about an Everglades shoot. They are new to our city and have not had a chance to play in the Everglades yet so I offered to scout some locations today. We went at midday when the sun was high and it was hot out there. Hopping into the water was great, and of course as soon as we left the thunderstorms began. I hope the photogs agree to our location, if not they'll do an awesome beach shoot. I can't complain here.

I have to be careful when I hand my fiance my camera when I hop in the water.

He had never been to this area and was fascinated by everything!

Our main goal was to record easy access and dry locations for the photogs to shoot from.

There are all sorts of crazy things in the Everglades besides the hydrology, flora, and fauna.

This is what I'm planning to wear if we do the glades. A dress I found for under $10, my red wellies, and possibly my standard heels.
